Regularly scheduled pubic day tours

Please read the following conditions carefully since they state the terms and conditions of the contract between you (client) and Winery Plus Tours. (WPT)

 

WPT is an independent company run by certified Rhone Valley wine expert Joe MCLEAN situated at 86 Grand rue, 30700, Saint Quentin-la-Poterie France. tel: +33 (0) 673 0823 97, email: contact@wineryplustours.com.  WPT creates one-day or longer wine itineraries and provides guiding services for these excursions. 

 

1.  A binding contract will exist between us at the time the client books and pays for a tour on-line (www.wineryplustours.com). The client will receive a confirmation email once the booking is complete. For private tours see below. WPT reserves the right to make minor changes and or equivalent substitutions to itinerary details due to conditions beyond our control. The client must ensure to supply WPT with a valid e-mail address in the event we need to contact you.  

 

2.  We accept payment by Visa, Mastercard, Paypal or Swift transfer. Last minute tours can be paid for in cash.

 

3.  Booking information: Details of activities supplied are available on line. If you do not receive your booking 

confirmation from WPT within 72 hours of booking, please contact us at contact@wineryplustours.com or by phone

at +33 (0) 673 0823 97.

 

IT IS VERY IMPORTANT THAT YOU CHECK ALL OF THE DETAILS OF YOUR TOUR CONFIRMATION BEFORE LEAVING FOR YOUR HOLIDAY. IF YOU FEEL THERE ARE ERRORS OR IF YOU HAVE OTHER QUESTIONS YOU SHOULD CONTACT WPT RIGHT AWAY.

 

Insurance: It is a condition of your booking with WPT that you carry personal insurance against medical and personal accident, to include medical repatriation if necessary and delay at points of departure for your outward or homeward travel. As well, it is your responsibility to purchase cancellation insurance in the event you cannot join the tour.

  

 

4.  Cancellation by client : Clients are permitted to cancel their bookings. To cancel a booking, the person who made the  booking must send a written request by email to contact@wineryplustours.com. WPT will refund the following amounts,  based on the date on which WPT receives the cancellation request:

 

                  • More than 60 days prior to departure / 70%

                  • 59 – 42 days prior to departure / 50%

                  • 41 – 30 days prior to departure / 30%

                  • 29 – 15 days prior to departure / 20%

                  • 14– 5 days  prior to departure / 10%

                  •   4 -  0  days prior to departure  /  0%

 

                 

5.   Cancellation by WPT: We reserve the right to cancel tours if the minimum number of participants (variable, depending on tour) is not achieved 7 days before the tour start date.  Clients having already booked will be fully refunded minus a 50 € per person administrative fee.

 

b)  Changes to your tour

We do our very best to ensure that the services we advertise are the ones you will receive. However, WPT reserves the right to make minor changes and or equivalent substitutions to itinerary details due to conditions beyond our control.

In the event that WPT must make a major alteration to a tour or cancel a tour, you will have the choice of, in the case of alteration, to accept the changes and any price amendments that may arise or in the event of cancellation, to accept a substitute tour if we are able to offer one. The price of the substitute tour may be different and we will adjust accordingly if it is less or more expensive than the originally booked tour. 

 

c)  If you have a complaint

If you have a complaint about any of our services you must tell the tour host so that the situation can be rectified quickly. Please note that we cannot be liable for any complaints or problems where you fail to bring the matter to our attention during the tour. If we can’t resolve the problem immediately, you should make a written report to us within 28 days of the end of our tour. Our contract with you is subject to French law and all disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of French courts.

 

Compensation:   If we or any of our suppliers fails to perform any obligation regarding your tour, we will pay reasonable compensation to you, subject to the limits stated below. Compensation will NOT be paid if the failure or improper performance is not due to any fault on our part or on the part of our suppliers, because it is attributable to:

• your own fault; or

• a third party unconnected with the provision of the services contracted and is unforeseeable or unavoidable; or

• unusual and unforeseeable circumstances beyond our control which could not have been avoided even if all due care had been exercised; or

• an event which we or our suppliers could not foresee or forestall, even with all due care.

 

                 

6.  RDV times: Clients must respect the indicated pick-up times in order for WPT to respect pre-arranged itineraries. If a client is more than 15 minutes late for the agreed upon pick-up time, WPT will leave without the client and the tour will not be reimbursed.

 

 

7.  Visuals waiver: All clients will be asked to sign a waiver the day of the tour approving or disapproving the right of WPT to use images and videos of clients taken during the tour for promotional purposes. (our web site, Facebook page, promotional material, etc...)

 

8.  Lost or stolen goods: WPT is not responsible for clients lost or stolen valuables and advises clients to buy adequate travel insurance coverage before departure.

 

 

9. Lodgings: WPT does not provide nor organize accommodation for clients. We do, however have links to quality lodging providers on our web site.

 

 

10. Meals: Lunches are not included in WPT's prices. We do however, look after booking a suitable restaurant for the group.

 

11.  Unreasonable conduct: In the extremely unlikely event of unreasonable conduct by you likely to cause damage, danger or serious disturbance to other clients, employees, property or any third party, we reserve the right to terminate the provision of services contracted to you. In the event of our terminating the contract for these reasons, full cancellation charges will apply and we will be under no obligation to refund or compensate you for any loss you may incur.

Custom and/or private tours

1.   Contract and booking confirmation: A binding contract will exist between WPT and the client at the time WPT takes a 50 % non-refundable deposit of the total amount of the booking. WPT will outline how to securely send your card details to us in the confirmation email. WPT must receive client card details within 7 days of the sending of our confirmation e-mail. The balance must be paid at least 30 days before your itinerary departure date. For bookings taken less than 30 days before departure, the total amount is required. It is important that clients provide WPT with a valid e-mail address.  WPT reserves the right to make minor changes and or equivalent substitutions to itinerary details due to conditions beyond our control.

Winery Plus Tours offers public and private, small group wine and food tours in Uzes, Chateauneuf du Pape, Tavel, Cotes du Rhone,

St. Remy de Provence, Uzege and the eastern  Languedoc. We can also arrange cooking classes, vineyard picnics, wine tastings and custom tours. English mother tongue guides, complimentary souvenir photos inclusive. On-line booking for most tours.
